Contour Windows in Auburn Hills, MI, began using EVO’s Cloud 9 e-commerce platform shortly after its debut in 2023.
Says the Purchasing Manager, “I played around with it and realized it would save me time. For example, I’d no longer have to manually email a purchase order to EVO; instead, I could enter it right into Cloud 9 – and all the details would be there. It eliminated double data-entry – and having to follow up to ensure the PO was received.”
Having to remember the myriad details associated with tracking dozens of parts orders is the biggest problem Cloud 9 has solved for for the company.
“Cloud 9,” says the manager, “gives me information instantly.”
For example, due to the Cloud 9 2025 update and the new Order Status Tracking Bar, users can immediately see where an order is in the system – whether it’s in shipping or about to be delivered.
The Contour manager reports he uses the Order Function regularly. He no longer has to look up parts in his system or review older POs because he can easily re-order using the platform’s purchase history.
The platform has also saved time for Accounts Payable as they can pay invoices directly from Cloud 9 using the ACH feature. They can also see which invoices are outstanding and what’s coming due, which helps with managing cash flow.
“Cloud 9 eliminated a lot of back and forth,” says the manager. “It’s made my job a lot easier. The EVO team has also been great. They’ve been open to feedback and have made changes based on our recommendations.”
“People might be afraid to try something new,” he adds, “but Cloud 9 is intuitive and easy-to-use. It’s saved me time – and made training our new Purchasing Manager very easy. He didn’t have to learn a complicated manual system.”
